Today we are proud to recognize several of our Rotary STRIVE students who participated in the program and were honored at the STRIVE Banquet.

STRIVE, which stands for Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education, celebrates students who have demonstrated growth, commitment, and perseverance throughout their senior year, particularly in the areas of academics and attendance.

A special congratulations goes to Lilly Anderton and Evan Wagner, who were selected to receive scholarships based on their academic standing and attendance record. This is a well deserved recognition of their hard work and dedication.

We are proud of all of our STRIVE participants and grateful for the continued support of MVTHS for investing in our students’ success.

Last but certainly not least: Huge thank you to our STRIVE Captain Ryan Schmidt for his efforts in making this program a success once again! We appreciate you Schmidty!

Congratulations to Detective Captain Jeremy Wilton on receiving this year's “Jack Overstreet Service Above Self Award”!
This is an award we honor annually for a local hero and first responder who has gone above and beyond in our community!
Captain Wilton has been a tremendous asset to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office over the last 15 years. On behalf of the Mount Vernon Rotary club members in our board, we're thankful for his service to this community.
