Dads work hard and give to us all year. Dad deserves more than another tie or pair of socks. Let’s take some time and let Dad know just how appreciated he truly is!!
No matter our age, something inside of us wants to stand up and shout, “That’s my Dad!” That’s why this Father’s Day we are honoring all the dads in our lives with a special service dedicated to them called “That’s My Dad.” It’s a celebration you’ll want to bring your family to, and this is the perfect time to invite families from your neighborhood, school, and work as well!
Join us this Sunday as we look at fatherhood and how important it is for a healthy family and a healthy society. No doubt, fatherhood is not fully appreciated today, and our society is paying the price for that. This Sunday we will look closely at Biblical examples of fatherhood and what God has to say about fathers. It is a time to reflect on fatherhood and to empower the dads among us. We all have room to grow and that’s exactly what we’ll do this Sunday with God’s help! This is one Sunday you do not want to miss and a perfect day to invite someone to join you! At 8:32AM we gather in the fellowship hall for a relaxed, “come as you are” service led by our band. Then, at 10:55AM we gather in the sanctuary for our warm, traditional service where we will be led by the organ and our choir.
Miss a previous message? They are available on the church website and Social Media Page.
Reading ahead? We encourage you to read ahead…the more you know the deeper and richer Sunday’s message will be for you. This week’s key text is 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 with references to John 3:16 and 1Peter 5:8.
