When one rehearsal a week is not enough, it must be First Tuesday! Proud of this dedicated group as we dug into every nook and cranny of our competition tunes last night! We explored every phrase, timing, unison, and ensemble ….you can’t just simply play a tune together….you have to become one with the music….and become one as a band….and that we did!

We always look forward to our Monday rehearsals, sure, they are a great time for learning…but also our opportunity for fellowship as we connect with our bandmates and catch up on all they have going on…it puts a smile on our faces as each member shows up at the door….but we all had really big smiles as our friend George returned this week after his final cancer treatment….he always makes us smile….but this one was the best ever! Great to have you back in the circle with us!

A beautiful morning in Lake County as we came together to remember our fallen law enforcement officers. I’m proud of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for coordinating this event every year and our neighbors and law enforcement agencies from across Lake County who make sure we never forget our fallen officers and their families. It is our privilege to perform and honor our heroes.
