What a great first week at NPI!

Congratulations to all of our students on completing their first week of school! Thank you to all the teachers and staff for making this week wonderful. ❤️🖤

The NPI PTA was proud to provide funding for a few special things to help kick off the school year:
📚 Student agendas to help our students stay organized all year long
✨ Prismatic Magic Laser Light Show, a fun way to learn about character traits and introduce PBIS at NPI

A huge THANK YOU to our PTA members who volunteered during the PBIS Blowout to paint faces and hand out popcorn. We appreciate you giving your time to help make the day extra special for our students!

NPI’s first PBIS Blowout is this Friday! 🎉

We’re looking for volunteers to help make it a fun day for our 4th and 5th graders! Volunteers are needed to help with face painting and popcorn. 🍿🎨

❤️🖤 Our PTA Membership Drive is underway!

Come visit our table at Open House this week to learn more about the NPI PTA and how you can get involved!

Your membership helps fund student activities, support our school, and create special experiences for NPI students.

You don’t have to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event to make a difference. Simply becoming a member helps support the work we do for all NPI students.

NPI Open House

NPI will hold its annual Back to School Open House on Wednesday, August 19 from 6-8pm.

At this time students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, see the class lists, and visit the school.

Make sure to visit the NPI PTA table to sign up for the PTA and learn about the upcoming meetings, fundraisers, and activities for this school year.

Planning to Volunteer at NPI This Year?

Just a reminder to make sure your volunteer clearances are up to date! Pennsylvania requires school volunteers who have direct contact with children to have the following clearances renewed every FIVE years:

🔹 Act 34 – PA State Police Criminal Record Check
https://epatch.pa.gov/
🔹 Act 151 – PA Child Abuse History Clearance
https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
Please note: This clearance can take up to 14 days to process.
🔹 Act 114 – FBI Fingerprint Clearance
https://www.identogo.com/locations/pennsylvania
Select Digital Fingerprinting and enter service code 1KG6XN to schedule an appointment.
There is a fee of approximately $25 for this service.

📩 Once you have all of your clearances, please email them to Kendra Bendyk in the NPI office at [email protected] so they can be kept on file.

Please take care of your clearances now so you'll be ready when volunteer opportunities come up throughout the school year.

Anyone without current clearances on file with NPI will not be able to volunteer in the school or at PTA functions.
