🚒❄️ Training on Thin Ice—Building Stronger Skills Together ❄️🚒

Members of the Moscow Fire & Hose Company recently joined with our friends from the Elmhurst–Roaring Brook Fire Department for hands-on training on a frozen pond, focusing on establishing water supply operations in winter conditions.

These challenging environments help sharpen our skills and prepare us to serve our community safely and effectively—no matter the season.

A big thank you to Station 15 for inviting us to join their training this evening and for the opportunity to learn and train together. Partnerships like this make us all stronger.

On 01/18/26 at approx. 0953 hrs, Elmhurst-Roaring Brook Volunteer Fire Company along with ambulances 7-8 and 7-9 were dispatched to the above location for a reported truck rollover into Penndot sign. Three (3) occupants of said vehicle were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Please use caution on that section of I-84 as tow companies are on scene in the process of removing the vehicle.
