Malachi 3:10 states, I will open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing. That is exactly what Jesus did this week at Boone’s Creek Christian Church in Johnson City as the students attending vacation bible school gathered supplies and made monetary donations to support our mission to make sure no one goes hungry here in Morristown. I am overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from my church family! Praise be to the Lord as these kids shined bright the light of Jesus. Thank you BCCC!!!

Mission Monday!

Today I have six 4-packs and one 6-pack of these cute vanilla cupcakes available for pickup.

These cupcakes are pay-what-you-wish, and all proceeds will go directly to Daily Bread in Morristown, TN. Boones Creek Christian Church is raising money through VBS this week to support this wonderful organization!

Get ready golfers! The 5th annual Hobe Williams memorial golf tournament is just around the corner. All proceeds go to help the Daily Bread serve hot meals to the hungry and less fortunate. Get your team together and help make sure no one goes hungry in Hamblen county. September 11, 2026 at Clinchveiw golf course with a 8:00 a.m. shoot gun start. Lunch will be provided. What a great Saturday as the Morristown Postal Service employees held their annual stamp out hunger food drive. This was the 30th year that they have given this food to the Daily Bread and what a blessing!!! Thank you to our awesome community that put the food by their mailbox and to the many employees at the post office who helped to sort the food. The Daily Bread has been able to prepare and serve more than 2 million meals to the hungry and less fortunate over the past 32 years and the employees at the Morristown Post Office have played a huge part in helping make this possible. Thank you so much! Praise the Lord!

What a blessing today as our newly elected Hamblen County Mayor Chris Cutshaw and his wife Jackie came and helped prepare and serve a hot meal to the hungry and less fortunate as they have been doing on the second Saturday of the month for the past eight years . You guys are awesome!

What a great prayer breakfast we had today. Pastor Dustin Epps from Faith Baptist Church delivered a great message and we had some great fellowship. I want to give a shout out to our county mayor Chris Cutshaw for making the monthly prayer breakfast a priority. Chris and his sweet wife Jackie volunteer every other month on the second Saturday and help prepare and serve meals to the hungry and less fortunate in our community. They have been loyal volunteers for eight years now and are true servants!!

What a blessed morning as students from All Saints School brought donations of paper towels, cups, plates, napkins, and forks and spoons. Further they are going to help serve the meal to the less fortunate. God be praised!

What a blessed day it was at the Daily Bread as Santa Claus made a visit and helped to hand out 275 new toys! Atmos energy provided the hamburgers and hotdogs and grilled them. Our wonderful staff and awesome volunteers served 311 meals to the hungry and less fortunate. I want to thank the employees at Koch foods and the congregation at Landmark Church of God for providing the toys. I pray that everyone has a blessed merry Christmas and that the the baby Jesus fills each heart with the love and joy of the holiday season!
