How We Got Started
In 1890 a group of young ladies in Morristown, TN formed an organization with the desire for serious literary study and

cultural improvement. In 1916 they joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs started in Washington DC. We are looking for new members who are interested in engaging with our community in a meaningful way.

Stephanie Hardy from Hamblen County-Substance Abuse-Coalition (HCSAC) spoke about the April 25 drug take back event at College Square from an environmental impact perspective. It is better for prescription and over the counter drugs to be disposed of properly, so they do not pollute our groundwater.

We thank these Ladies for their willingness to serve and look forward to the next year under their leadership!

We also remembered our Ladies who passed on this year with a memorial service by Robin Dawson. Emily Trusler, Carolyn Barclay, Mary Alice Harville, and Lois Garner-Rudnig were phenomenal Ladies who will be dearly missed. We are lucky to have called them friends and fellow members.

We are still tallying funds raised from the Celebration of Tables and will hopefully be able to announce and disburse those funds soon!

More info from the District meeting will be shared at our April General Meeting, but for now, please enjoy some pics!

We only have 2 meetings left this Club Year!

If you're interested in membership, we invite you to attend our April 15 meeting at the Women's Clubhouse at 501 East 1st N St. There is limited on street parking next to the Clubhouse house and additional parking in the empty lot across the street.

Enjoy refreshments and social time at noon, followed by our meeting at 12:30, hosted by the Environment CSP.
