Motown Diamonds 2012 went 0-2-2 this weekend at the Diamond Classic Turkey Trot in Johnson City, TN.

It definitely wasn’t our best showing, but these girls battled against some of the top talent in East Tennessee and held their own every game — even while missing a few key players. 💪🥎

We’ve got a few things to clean up, but I’m proud of how they played and competed all weekend. The effort, heart, and teamwork are there — the results will come! ❤️🖤💎

The Diamonds made their 14U debut today and showed out in a big way! 💎

✅ Went 2-0 in pool play
✅ Earned the #2 seed in the Gold Bracket
🔥 Battled all the way to the semifinals, coming up just one game short.

We couldn’t be prouder of this group and their effort, fight, and teamwork set the tone for an exciting fall season ahead! 💎❤️💙🤍💎

We’re running 4 Tennessee Vols Football Boards to help offset our tournament and team expenses. Each board will be tied to a Vols game this season:

• 🏈 August 23 vs. Syracuse
• 🏈 September 13 vs. Georgia
• 🏈 October 18 vs. Alabama
• 🏈 November 22 vs. Florida

The Motown Diamonds 2012 wrapped up their 12U season as finalists in the Big Bang Motown Stingers and Dingers tournament! 🥎💎

We couldn’t be more proud of this group — they battled their hearts out in both the semifinals and the championship game. There’s zero quit in these girls and they continue to represent our program the right way.

The future is bright — and we’re already excited to see what the Fall 14U season has in store!

The Motown Diamonds 2012 came out on top in the Dream Team Dark Knight Tournament, finishing 4-1 and bringing home the championship! 🏆 They outscored their opponents 37-5 and showed grit and determination all day long.
Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it. Way to fight, Diamonds! 💎🔥
