Calling all Cub Scout AOL's. Troop 40 is hosting an AOL campout. Come join us for a sneak peek into the ins and outs of Scout life as we know it. Lunch and dinner provided. Scout Court of Honor will be happening that night as well. RSVP as soon as possible so the Troop has a good headcount for food supplies. It will be a fun filled day of activites and fellowship. Arrival time 12 pm on Saturday 9/26. Hot dogs and Mac & cheese for lunch. Dinner TBD, but the AOL's will be working with the Scout Leadership with cooking dinner. Hope to see you there!

Hey there all, here are some pics from our 2026 Camp Tesomas adventure. We did have a Superstar in our midsts. SPL Joe, for his going above and beyond at camp, he was awarded the Nick Parrins Leadership award. Congrats Joe and thanks to Hylary for the excellent nomination letter.

We had two scouts who completed the architecture merit badge at the Chicago Architecture Center today. Looking for a way to get your kid off electronic devices and learning new things? Check us out! We meet on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 PM at St. John’s UCC in Mokena.

Well, as the week winds down and all the activities are done. Tomorrow is flags, breakfast, finish packing and wheels up for the journey home. This week had its ups and downs, we all endured and made it through the week. As the Acting Scoutmaster out here this week, i am proud to be part of all these Scouts. They all had fun, learned some things, made some friends. The Coffin Club ruled the week and were the winners, they can explain. They finished some merit badges, and some got to learn some cool things this week, The Hodag. I am gonna miss Camp Tesomas, BUT, back to reality. Once we get back, we will share some of our experiences with all. For now, from all of us in the North Woods , good night.

Weather has been crazy already, arrived yesterday, hot and humid. Storms at night. Cooled off a bit. This morning showers, NOW, sunny AND rain. Heres a video of the campsite with the sun and rain.

Well here we go. Camp Tesomas bound. Summer camp week. Scouts are excited, its gonna be a fun week.

Weekend camp out, IFYKYK the location. The boys have their living quarters set up for the weekend , cooling off in the also playin Assassin.

Day 2, playin in the water again having a blast. Jac came out for dinner.

We did come across a couple lake mud monsters.
