Harvest can bring long days and added stress, making it an important time to check in on neighbors, friends and family. Alongside these messages of thanks, we’re sharing resources to help farm families manage stress and find support!

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to serve dinner to local farmers and their crews!

With the help of Dave Scoggin - Country Financial Representative and Clearview Pork Farm we were able to deliver over 120 meals.

This evening was a small way to show our appreciation for the hardworking farmers in our community and all that they do for us everyday!

Join the Young Leaders at CornFest on Friday, September 25th for our final Pedal Pull of the year. Find us in the Old National Bank parking lot for some friendly competition and a fun way to kick off the weekend!

Ag in the Classroom is back!

Classroom visits kicked off this month in both Kendall and Grundy counties. Kendall County Ag in the Classroom students started off learning about apples, while Grundy County Ag In The Classroom students are learning the basics of agriculture and the many careers that are part of the industry.

Interested in having an Ag in the Classroom educator visit your class or provide lesson materials? Reach out! They’d love the opportunity to teach your students more about agriculture and why it’s so important.

Feed a Farmer is back!

Join us Wednesday, October 7 from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at the Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau for a free meal for our area farmers and harvest crews.

The KGFB and COUNTRY Financial Representative Dave Scoggin are teaming up to give those working long days during harvest a well-deserved meal and those keeping them fed a night off from cooking. Meals include your choice of a butterfly pork chop or pork burger from Clear View Pork Farm, chips, a cookie and water.

Reserve meals for you and your crew by September 30 by calling 815-942-6400.
