It’s come to our attention that a lot of people don’t think Morris Cruise Night does much for our town. However we’d like to share what we are very proud of. MCN has been in existence for 20 years and have donated over $400,000 to Grundy County causes. This amount only reflects the nights of the cruises. There are many many more organizations we have donated to. There are no outside venders allowe

d at our event to protect the Morris businesses. food or merchants. We the MCN installed and maintain the Downtown sound system with the intent to be used for ALL downtown activities in which we only use 5 times a year. We are paid long time members of the Gr Co Chamber of commerce and help promote them and our downtown. We donated $1700.00 for a defibrillator. We average 8,000 spectators and participants per event that patronizes the entire city of Morris not just the downtown in which many return to shop. For many years we’ve donated many items to The operation St. Nick auctions that we purchased restored at our own time and expense. For 20 years we have donated $1000 to Illinois Valley Industries. This is what Morris Cruise Night Does for Morris and Grundy County!

✨️ a 2022 Chevy Racecar owned by J Latham & driven by Cameron Preisler was chosen by our beneficiary- Cheryl Hryn Racing 4 Kids
✨️ a 1955 Chevy owned by Spice was chosen by our celebrity- Randy Weese

🎟 Our August beneficiary, Cheryl Hryn Racing 4 Kids, raised a total of $16,161 in the 50/50 raffle. 💰 That is the largest 50/50 pot for MCN! Way to go Cheryl Hryn Racing 4 Kids! 🎉 You did an incredible job! The winner of the $8,081 has been contacted by the beneficiary. Congratulations Vinny!! 🏁

The next 2026 MCN is Sept 12th (6-9pm) & the beneficiary will be Rotaract Club of Morris.

❗️ATTENTION❗️

We have a change in beneficiary for the August 8th MCN.
Due to unforseen circumstances the Morris Shrine Club is no longer able to participate as our beneficiary. We wish them the best in their continued mission!
We are excited to welcome Cheryl Hryn Racing 4 Kids as our new beneficiary for Aug MCN! This is a non-profit 501c3 that has provided nearly 3,000 backpacks of school supplies and almost 1,000 bikes to local children since 2016. They have also given away classroom supplies to local teachers! Check out their page for more information on this amazing organization!!
