A group within 100+ is helping Jump Start to host a Grundy baby shower for families in need.

If you want to help, you can adopt a family (on your own or pitch in with friends) or buy just diapers or books - there's something for every budget!

The event is June 20 so we hope to get all of the families adopt by next week.

If you would like to adopt a family for the Community Baby Shower, please click this link. You can pay for it yourself or partner up with friends. If your budget is limited, you can instead sign up to bring diapers and/or books.

Some have asked, "Can I bring gently used?" Yes. Clean, gently used toys, clothes, and books are welcome!

If you want to drop off anything in advance, you can drop them off at the Community Foundation or Jump Start (inside We Care).

What a morning! We raised more than $3,500 for Rock Soul Love Luminary Foundation in Downtown Morris. Local business owner Amy Lee spoke about her unique resale store with food pantry that offers social connections for seniors. We were thrilled to select RSL for our combined funds!

We also heard from Donetta about the inclusive programming offered by The Exibit Fine Arts Center & Gallery and from Barb about the impact on youth sports made by The Jason Clearwater Fund. Members came away excited about getting involved in both.

Huge thanks to host AppleJax Creations for providing space, coffee, and delicious treats. 🫶

This week’s 100+ Women Who Care of Grundy County gathering was so much fun, we forgot to take pictures! 📸 The Community Room at Morris City Hall saw nearly 50 local women come together to make a difference. The group had its first tie vote! Nearly $4,500 will be split between Grundy Eunoia Wellness Center to provide mental health care for youth and to Breaking Away to help fund a brick-and-mortar location. 🫂 🤝 ❤️‍🩹 Link to donate in the comments.
