Moreno Valley Master Chorale Concerts

Artistic Director: Nathan Romero Hello, music lover and welcome to the website for the Moreno Valley Master Chorale.

The chorale is the "Official Choral Ambassador" for the City of Moreno Valley. We were founded in 1986 to provide a creative outlet for local singers. The Chorale presents three major concerts annually. We actively participate in many city sponsored events, including singing the National Anthem at the first City Council meeting of the year for the past five years. We are proud to be a member of th

e Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce. In addition to performing in the City of Moreno Valley, we are active in the Inland Empire musical scene. We have performed with the San Bernardino Symphony, at the Redlands Bowl, with the Loma Linda Symphony Orchestra, and in Palm Springs.

The title for our May 17 concert is “ Tribute to America :Celebrating 250 Years” and will be conducted by our Temporary Artistic Director , Nathan Romero. We will be doing patriotic numbers along with individual numbers from our talented Chorale members.

Did you know that the term for a 250th anniversary is Semiquincentennial? I don’t think any of us knew.

Please stay tuned for more information regarding our May 17 concert which will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America. We are pleased to welcome Nathan Romero as our temporary Artistic Director for this performance. He is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, along with graduate studies at the University of Redlands, and has experience as a choral director, vocalist, pianist, and organist. He currently teaches music at Renaissance Valley Academy in San Jacinto.

Happy New Year Everyone!
We hope that all of you that attended enjoyed our Christmas Concert on December 14. We will be starting rehearsals for our next concert on May 17 which will celebrate the 250th anniversary of America. Rehearsals will start on Monday January 12 at 7pm at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church 11650 Perris Blvd. Moreno Valley. No auditions are necessary, the only requirement is that you enjoy singing. Please call 951-485-8414 for further information. Hope to see you there.
