"In 2015, I wanted to see if we could transition to making feature-style content with narrative storyline. That's where The Time Teller came into being.
The Time Teller is the story of a scientist "out of time" due a mishap in his lab. He is trapped in the "in-between" of time and space, piercing through into our dimension to try to find his way back to his family, which is trapped in a future which is a dead end.
So, we shot an early script with the help of local actors - Marcy Wright, Aaron Pyle, Frank Jaramillo, and others dedicated a few days to our efforts.
Thomas Trerise was the author of the original series, which allowed us to option for a future production. The script 'A Happier Time" is the result.
So, this is the proof concept project that really started Beaumont Film Group, which has been around informally since 2015, when it was fledgling program of the Inland Stage Company.
Basically what was proven to us as a concept was I needed to go back to school, since post-production had changed so much in the 25 years since I studied film at De Anza College in the early '90s.
Now, Beaumont Film Group is proud to offer full services as a digital content studio. We are open for business to serve the local regions content needs from Development to Distribution.
