Another great weekend raising money for kids comes to a close tonight with 137 players in the house at Cave Run Bingo. The Morehead Optimist Club and volunteers from the Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) sold $19,323 pulltabs that paid cash/prizes totaling $13,818 plus $5,000 for bingo bringing the total cash/prizes to $18,818 for the night. The two night totals really hit the mark with 244 players buying $39,359 in pulltabs that paid $27,978 in cash/prizes and another $9,399 for bingo bringing the total payout of cash/prizes to $37,377 for the weekend. E-Tabs cashed added another $29,467 to the grand total right here in Morehead, KY. We’ll be back in action next weekend when the “Queen of Hearts” kicks off on Friday with a jackpot of $6,029. Doors open at 4:30, pulltabs hit the floor at 5:00 and the first bingo ball drops at 7:00. Volunteers from Elliott Boys basketball will be on the floor Friday night and RCSHS Boys Basketball on Saturday for all of your pulltab needs. C’mon down!!

Great weekend kickoff with the Morehead Optimist Club at Cave Run Bingo. The Pink Panther Softball boosters handled the pulltabs admirably for 104 players. They sold $20,036 pulltabs that paid $14,160 in cash/prizes and another $4,399 for bingo for total cash/prizes of $18,559. The E-Tab payout for the night was a whopping $20,313! The “Queen of Hearts” is still on the run with a jackpot of $5,877 when we open tomorrow. Doors open at 4:30, pulltabs hit the floor at 5:00 and the first bingo ball drops at 7:00. C’mon down!!

Saturday night closed out another great weekend for the Morehead Optimist Club at Cave Run Bingo. Volunteers from Elliott FBLA and JAG handled the pulltabs for 112 players selling $18,114 tabs that paid $13,026 in cash & prizes. Combined with the bingo purse of $4,399 the players captured more than $17,000 last night. The weekend totals saw 212 players through the doors buying $43,122 in pulltabs that paid $30,915 in cash & prizes with another $8,803 for bingo. That pushed the total cash & prizes to more than $39,000 for the weekend. We’ll be back in action next weekend with volunteers from RCSHS Speech and RCSHS Boys Basketball taking care of your pulltab needs. C’mon down! Great night tonight to close out an even better weekend. Had 145 players in the house and the volunteers from Morgan County High Class of 2027 did a good job with their pulltab needs. Buying $17,880 that paid $13,022 that combined with the bingo purse of $4,800 pushed the prize total to $17,822. With last night’s totals from the Elliott County Middle JAG volunteers we saw 298 players buying $43,978 in pulltabs that paid $33,134 that combined with $9,800 from bingo pushed the total prize payout to $42,934 for the weekend. We will be back in action next weekend with RCSHS Speech and Morgan County High Boys Golf on the floor taking care of pulltab need. Stop in and check us out.

Oh what a night!!! The frigid temperatures and icy conditions couldn’t keep 150 hearty souls away from bingo. The Morehead Optimist Club hosted a great night with volunteers from the Morehead Mavericks 8U Baseball team. The volunteers sold $19,988 pulltabs that paid $14,480 in cash and prizes. With a bingo purse of $4,809 our players shared $19,289 in winnings for the night. The “Queen of Hearts” moved from $19,626 to $20,273 at drawing time and that’s where it kicks off tomorrow night. We will be back in action with volunteers from RCSHS Cheer on the floor with pulltabs. C’mon down for some more hot action in spite of the frigid temperatures.

Don’t forget the Morehead Woman's Club “Designer Purse” bingo is on Sunday with doors opening at 1:00 and the first bingo game at 2:00.
