Morehead Woman's Club The oldest service organization in the Morehead/Rowan County Community. Dedicated to Community Service. Ms.

Presenting sponsor of the Rowan County Distinguished Young Woman Program. The Morehead Woman's Club was founded in 1909 by members of the Shakespearean Study Group. The first president of the club and one of the founders was Cora Wilson Stewart. She was also a pioneer i adult literacy and founder of the "Moonlight Schools". Stewart envisioned the Morehead Woman's Club as volunteers in the field of adult literacy, which remains one of the Club's projects today.

Have plans after the Harvest Festival next Saturday? You do now! Get your creative ideas ready and join us as the PUMPKIN GLOW returns on October 28th! 🎃🎃🎃🎃

This year pumpkins will be on display on the front steps of the former Morehead Police Department located at 105 E. Main Street from 7:00-8:00PM!

As in past years, we need YOUR help to put this event on. So, we encourage people of all ages and artistic talents to participate. Everyone can carve a pumpkin!

Pumpkins can be dropped off on the steps of the former PD until 6:30PM on the 28th. Employees will place candles and light them before the glow officially begins at 7:00PM.

Bring the family out for an evening of fun. We hope you’ll join us!
