Low to very low humidities, very dry fuels, and breezy conditions
will combine to result in Elevated Fire Danger through this
evening. Winds will subside and humidities will gradually recover
after sunset.

Remember that Kentucky regulations make it illegal to burn
between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM within 150 feet of a woodland
or brushland during the Spring Forest Fire Season that runs until

⚠️ BLACK ICE SAFETY ALERT ⚠️

Black ice is nearly invisible and can form quickly, especially on bridges, overpasses, and shaded roadways. It may look like a wet spot, but it can be extremely dangerous.

❄️ Safety Tips:
• Slow down and avoid sudden braking or sharp turns
• Increase your following distance
• Watch for a glossy or “wet-looking” road surface
• Be extra cautious in early morning and late night hours
• If you start to slide, stay calm and steer gently in the direction you want the front of your vehicle to go

🚗 Remember: Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there!

Your safety is our priority—please use caution when traveling.
