BEARDS, BOOTS & BROTHERHOOD!

The Central Men brought the muscle, faith, and fellowship to Camp Lyons! From building projects to sharing meals, these guys got it DONE!

Huge thanks to the Stamms for the new recreational equipment and the G-town men for their hard work!

Serving together. Building more than projects.

Camp Lyons has been BUSY! From finishing the deck and replacing windows to clearing trees, upgrading lights, and tackling projects around camp, the work never stops!

But the best part? The PEOPLE! We loved welcoming Journey With Friends, the Glorious Stampers, and the Pressing On Retreat for fellowship, creativity, laughter, and lasting memories!

Lots of progress, great people, and even a few fish caught!

This week was all about saying YES.

Yes, we fed 150 students.
Yes, we delivered Ale-8 to our WV friends.
Yes, we gathered firewood in the dark.
Yes, she said yes.
Yes, the RV sites have new seating.
Yes, work continues on the Kubota.
Yes, it takes a lot of hands to make camp happen.

And yes, the fire teepee has an umbrella.

Just another week at Camp Lyons.

Cru Fall Retreat is in the house! These students are here from Shawnee University, Marshall University, Morehead University, WV Tech, and Mountwest! Lots of man-hours to get to this point but here we are. God meet them!

No AI. No filters. Just a whole lot of amazing people coming together to build stronger relationships and a stronger Camp Lyons! 🙌🌲

Johnson Church hosted a marriage retreat with Mark and Vicky Shaner sharing, while SNCKY kicked off their first Journey With Friends of the fall!

Around camp, the deck kept moving forward, fish were stocked, leaves were blown, fall decorations went up, and apple dumplings officially won the weekend. 🍎🍂🐟

And apparently, the reptiles and amphibians have decided they can show up wherever they want. 😂🐸🦎

Another full weekend of ministry, projects, laughter, and community at Camp Lyons!

Another great week at Camp Lyons! 🙌🌲

We had an awesome time hosting the NBFC Fall Youth Retreat, and the helped celebrate Charlie turning 8! 🎉🎂 The birthday celebrations kept rolling as we also got to celebrate Juel Link this week!

A huge thank-you to the Harveys for donating some new benches! Reagan stayed busy painting cabins, Lena and Karen kept everyone fed, and Pam and Juel helped keep things clean and looking great. 💪

And somewhere around camp, 30 A/C filters are officially breathing a little easier. 😂👏

Lots of work, lots of celebrations, and lots of great memories being made around Camp Lyons! ❤️

Another week, another round of wins at Camp Lyons!

From celebrating birthdays and adding some fresh new bling to the ice maker and carpetball table, to clearing trees out of Mud Lick Creek and tackling a beaver dam—there is truly never a dull moment around here!

We also had an awesome weekend with Johnson FCOG and loved having them here at camp!

A HUGE shoutout to Tim, Reagan, Juel, and Pam for all the hard work happening behind the scenes. Whether it’s cleaning, fixing, clearing, or improving, these guys keep Camp Lyons looking great and moving forward!
