Another week, another round of wins at Camp Lyons!

From celebrating birthdays and adding some fresh new bling to the ice maker and carpetball table, to clearing trees out of Mud Lick Creek and tackling a beaver dam—there is truly never a dull moment around here!

We also had an awesome weekend with Johnson FCOG and loved having them here at camp!

A HUGE shoutout to Tim, Reagan, Juel, and Pam for all the hard work happening behind the scenes. Whether it’s cleaning, fixing, clearing, or improving, these guys keep Camp Lyons looking great and moving forward!

For our disc golfers.Faith Fairways is playable again, but there will be extra steps backpeddling from Hole 3 to 4. Hopefully the creek crossing will be cleared by next weekend. Thanks for your patience.

The busiest days of summer are here, and Camp Lyons is buzzing! This week we’ve welcomed families from Ecuador, Canada, and across the United States, partnered with Hope Hill Youth Services to help students get ready for school, tackled painting, cleaning, and mowing, celebrated getting Wi-Fi back, and even added new kayak paddles and pool gear. Every mower may have broken down this week… but around here, we adapt, overcome, and keep moving forward!

Almost a month without Wi-Fi… but Camp Lyons hasn’t missed a beat!

We’ve been tagging fish, slipping in the rain, worshiping under the roof, soaking in God’s incredible creation, and watching this amazing intern crew master the daily grind—no matter how smelly it gets!

It was great to welcome the Apostolic Family Camp back this week! A huge thank you to Pam, Sheila, Angie, Juel, and Greg. Together, those washing machines ran for an incredible 26 straight hours to keep camp moving. The camp looks fantastic, and we’re so grateful for everyone who serves behind the scenes to make it all happen!

No wifi! No sunshine! Trees dropping! Buildings flooding! Bigfoot on the loose! No problem. Our WV friends from Ranger made lemonade and found connection, worahip, and fun!
