Trail update 12/10/25: Some EC Riders members were out recently assessing our trail system. Overall, trails are shaping up nicely and all gates have been open to allow riding.

USE EXTREME CAUTION and ride at your own risk! Some marshy areas and fields are still rough in spots & some areas of water may not be fully frozen. Some areas still have limited signing so be mindful. Members will continue with trail work as able.

RESPECT LAND OWNER PROPERTY! Please stay on the trail and the goal for riders is to help pack as wide as possible the current snow and build a base foundation.

WARNING: OFF TRAIL ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR has pushed our landowner relations to a crisis point. Every foot of illegal riding is a direct BETRAYAL of the trust that grants us access. The continued disrespect for private land is guaranteeing the destruction of this entire trail system.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We encourage anyone that enjoy our trail system to volunteer time to help maintain the trails. If interested, please reach out!

We will continue to monitor the trail system to determine when we can begin grooming. Please continue to monitor our FB page for more updates.

Stay safe! Happy riding!

Even though we have received snow in our area received in the last few days and trails could be officially open, our trails WILL NOT OPEN on Dec. 1.

This decision is to protect our landowners property. We are also unable to groom at this time as well and there may be safety hazards for riders, such as open water, uncovered branches, rocks, and other debris that is normally covered by snow.

📢 ATTENTION CURRENT CLUB MEMBERS: Let's Get to Work! 🛠️

The the first big snow is officially here, and we need your help to make this our best season ever!

Your membership is crucial, but your hands-on help is what makes the magic happen out on the trails.

We have some critical needs right now—and many hands make light work!

1. 🌲 Trail Work: Clear the Corridors!
* What: Brushing, clearing debris, checking signs, and preparing the trail base before the snow hides everything.
* Why: Clear trails mean safer, smoother riding, and less damage to the groomer.
* Sign Up: Contact Greg M at 320-241-5338 or email [email protected] to confirm you can make it

Trail work is done on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9:00 am.

2. 💰 Fundraising Drive: Fuel the Groomer!
* What: We need volunteers to help coordinate fundraisers, solicit silent auction items, or work a shift at events.
* Why: Rising fuel costs and maintenance fees mean every dollar we raise directly impacts the quality of your ride.
* Step Up: If you have ideas, connections, or time to devote to fundraising, please message the club or contact an officer!

Remember: You ride on the trails you help maintain!

Thank you for being a committed member. We look forward to seeing you at a workday or meeting soon—and then out on the snow!

REMINDER: Trails are still closed for the season.

We are all excited about the new snow; however, the weather has been unusually warm, which means swamps and other areas are not frozen.

Please stay off the trails until they open to respect our landowners and for your own safety.

Trails open December 1st.
