This week, on Wednesday, our staff gathered for a special morning of breakfast, chapel, fellowship, and thanksgiving.

It was a meaningful time to come together, encourage one another, and reflect on God’s goodness and faithfulness.We are grateful for the opportunity to share life, serve together, and pause to give thanks for all that God continues to do.

Back for the final semester!
Our STC students are back on campus for their final semester of the year! We’re grateful to see them return, ready to learn, grow, and be equipped for faithful service to Christ.

And there’s even more to look forward to. This November, we will celebrate our very first graduation for the degree class! What a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the fruit of years of learning, training, and preparation.

“Stand firm in the Lord.” — Philippians 4:1 (ESV)
Stand firm. Refuse to be moved.
Persecution will come. Deception will come. False teachers may seek to sway God’s people. But Paul’s exhortation is clear: stand firm in the Lord.

Our strength is not found in our strategies, connections, possessions, or personalities. We cannot stand firm in our own strength. We stand firm by abiding in Christ and trusting in His strength alone.
Be steadfast. Refuse to be moved. Stand firm to the very end.

Today at CBCK, we celebrated the faithfulness of God as we celebrated those who were baptized and received their baptism certificates, gathered around the Lord’s Table, and continued our journey through Philippians.

In today’s sermon from Philippians 4:1, we were reminded of the call to “Stand Firm.” In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, we are called to remain steadfast in Christ, holding firmly to the gospel and living faithfully for His glory.

What a joy to see lives transformed, believers growing, and the church gathering around the Word and the table. ❤️

“Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.” Philippians 4:1

When a child looks into the camera and says, “Thank you for supporting me,” we are reminded that every prayer, every sacrifice, every teacher, and every gift makes a difference.
This is the kind of impact that lasts.
It looks like a child who can say, “I learned about Christ.”
It looks like confidence where there was once uncertainty.
Growth where there was once limitation.
Friendship, laughter, curiosity, and the joy of learning.
It looks like children discovering how to care for themselves, how to learn, how to play, and how to grow.
But most importantly, it looks like young lives being shaped by truth, grounded in Christ, and prepared for a future that reaches far beyond the classroom.
And to everyone who has prayed, given, served, taught, encouraged, and supported this work: we say thank you. We are deeply grateful for the part you play in shaping these young lives.

Day three of our National Women’s Conference reminded us that even in seasons of suffering, weakness, and waiting, we are never without hope.

We were also reminded that every woman has been given means of grace; gifts God uses to strengthen and grow us in our walk with Him:

🙏 Prayer — We draw near to the throne of grace with confidence. (Hebrews 4:16)
📖 The Word of God — We offer ourselves to God and are transformed as our minds are renewed. (Romans 12:1–2)
🤝 The Body of Believers — We grow together as we teach and admonish one another in wisdom. (Colossians 3:16)

As women Empowered by the Holy Spirit, may we faithfully make use of these means of grace, trusting God through every season and holding firmly to the hope we have in Christ.

“For in this hope we were saved.” Romans 8:24

Day Two of our Women’s Conference was a beautiful reminder of who we are in Christ.

As women gathered to worship, open God’s Word, and pray together, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live as beloved daughters of God who are free from fear, confident in our identity, and assured that we belong to Him.

Empowered by the Spirit.
Secure in our identity.
Free to live for Christ.

“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” Romans 8:15

What a beautiful beginning to our National Women’s Conference!

Day One set the stage for a powerful week.
We began with morning devotions, followed by powerful main sessions led by Erin Young and Mary Basaba, and meaningful seminars that challenged and equipped us to live out the calling God has given us.
We are encouraged to depend on the Holy Spirit as we seek to know Christ more deeply, remember His truth, and faithfully live for Him.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:18
