It's main goal is to preserve and keep the history of Montgomery alive today.

On Saturday, December 12, 2026, families and visitors will enjoy the Cookie Walk, Holiday Vendor Market, and Candlelight Home Tour—and your sponsorship can help make it all possible.
Sponsorships range from $25 to $500, so there’s a level for everyone. Sponsors will receive recognition at the event and in advance event advertising. This beloved celebration is our largest annual fundraiser. Your support helps our volunteer-run nonprofit care for six historic properties, operate the N.H. Davis Museum, and share Montgomery’s history through exhibits, education, and community programs all year long.

Grand Opening at Foley’s — On October 20, 1947, Foley’s unveiled its brand-new $17 million department store at 1110 Main Street, turning downtown Houston into a scene of celebration. Crowds of eager shoppers packed the streets for one of the city’s biggest retail events.
