IMPOWER brings women together to Inspire, Motivate, Prepare and Organize Women to Engage and Reinvest

IMPOWER holds two to three luncheons each year to provide opportunities for networking, increase your business, and be motivated by one of our fabulous speakers in the hopes more women (and men) get involved in the community. Each luncheon has a "call to action" in support of the non-profits in the community.

The rain didn’t deter anyone from this sold out IMPOWER event. Thanks to the amazing staff at Pasadera and the team of ladies who hustled to make the event go on as planned. We do love that patio setting, but the dining room is fantastic as well. Thanks Ashley Chesney for sharing your incredible journey. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Thanks - you’re a great emcee. We appreciate you and your humor. 🥰

We’ve moved today’s event indoors. It’ll still be amazing!

Ashley Chesney, Keynote Speaker for the October 2nd IMPOWER luncheon, is a true force for change! ✨ A leader in the Anti-Trafficking Movement, author of the powerful memoir “From the Ashes,” and Executive Director & Co-Founder of Set Free Monterey Bay, Ashley’s dedication is unwavering.

She’s not just a passionate advocate but also an expert trainer, working closely with first responders and educating communities on how to identify human trafficking, paving the way toward its eradication. As a compelling speaker and alumni member of the CSEC Advisory Board with the National Center for Youth Law, Ashley brings her invaluable lived experience to the forefront of policy and advocacy efforts.

Through her own journey, she found freedom—and now dedicates her life to walking alongside survivors as they reclaim theirs. Ashley is a s*x trafficking survivor turned thriver, and her story is an inspiration to us all. We can’t wait to hear her speak!
