Our man gave us a breakdown of the 2026 , LETS GET INTO IT 🤝
-
“Overall the race was good until it wasn’t, essentially the first lap was going good and probably the best it has been in years. I made it up the first pivotal climb on Laguna Seca race track, positioned nicely in the top 20 which thankfully for the descent put me in a much better position than years passed. Especially when navigating the super fast dusty descent!”
-
“During the entry to the single track section I was able to align myself to the front of the race, focused and pushing hard I began to lead the race!”
-
“Entering a sharp left turn I may have pushed a little too hard, I had the fatal mistake of losing the front wheel in the corner and went down. This corner caused chaos through the group coming up behind me as it had no real clear markings or tape, but I jumped up from the ground dusted myself off, I had to straighten my bars which cost me a good few positions but eventually got back on the road…”
-
“As I arrived back to the group, I could see maybe 4 groups off the front and they were GONE.we were battling high winds and long straights with nowhere to hide. I definitely just kept fighting, chasing but eventually after another lap I knew the little mistake had now grown to a big mistake!”
-
“I finished in the top 50 after a small regrouping and jumping on with another group who passed by just at the right time. You know not exactly the result I wanted but I’m staying positive and definitely learnt a lot during this years race. That training is definitely working after coming up over the first climb in such a good position!”
-
“I can’t dwell on days gone by, I’m looking forward as the next race is on the horizon which is Traka and I am definitely stoked!”
