What a wonderful luncheon yesterday! Paige Allen's presentation was great sharing about the Thrift and Thrive Resale Shop and Marilyn Wolkowski was delightful in her presentation of God's miraculous hand in her life. Very nice turnout and delicious meal too.

We enjoyed a patriotic themed luncheon celebrating America's 250th birthday. Mary Friedrichs from FAITH Addiction Awareness (Fighting Addiction - It Takes Help) shared this non-profit organization in Green County. Our own Lorrie Reed of Monroe spoke about her unpredictable life experiences which lead her to a grounded sense of where she's headed and who's with her.

We had a light-hearted June luncheon amongst raindrops on Wednesday. Larry Bolhous dressed as Carl Spackler, greenskeeper, from the 1980 movie "Caddyshack" and accompanied ladies to and from vehicles with his handy umbrella. Abbea Havens of Bee Havens Flower Farm gave us an informative talk on her thriving business. Marilyn Garapolo of Plainfield, IL spoke about how therapeutic laughter is in our lives as well as her childhood dreams of traveling while working in fashion merchandising.

A delightful May luncheon was enjoyed by all at the Koning Maple Lane Event Center on Wednesday with Andrea Byerley, owner of Artful Quilting Longarm Services in Hollandale, WI and Lori Mayer of St. Ansgar, IA. Andrea shared her extraordinary collection of vintage quilts. Each quilt had such a unique story that we couldn't decide on just one photo so we included them all! Lori presented her inspiring and powerful talk regarding forgiveness. It was a lovely Spring day!
