Grandparents, a new generation of kids comes with new recommendations for care! Join Grandparents: Getting Started class on Saturday, June 13th from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Y and be in the know.

While the love and wisdom you share never go out of style, child care practices have evolved over the years. Join us for Grandparents: Getting Started and learn the latest research-based recommendations for caring for infants and children safely and confidently.

Led by certified Safe Sitter® Instructors, this class covers:
- Safe infant and child care practices
- Age-appropriate behavior management techniques
- Choking rescue and first aid skills
- Injury prevention and management
- Building positive relationships with your children and grandchildren
- Setting healthy boundaries when it comes to babysitting

Whether you're welcoming your first grandchild or caring for a growing crew, this class will help you create safe, meaningful memories with the little ones in your life.

Join us today, Wednesday, May 27th from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. for our FREE Senior Health Fair. This is an excellent time to explore the many active older adult offerings available at the Green County Family YMCA and throughout our community. The YMCA and other local partners will be on-site at the Y to discuss the importance of healthy living and being forever well.

Schedule of events:
- FREE Fitness Classes:
- 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. - Water Fitness (aqua class)
- 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. - FOREVERWELL Strength
- 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. - Sore No More (aqua class)
- 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. - Chair Yoga
- Fitness Orientations at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m.
- Keeping the Keys Presentation at 9:00 a.m.
- Nutrition Presentation at 10:00 a.m.
