💙💛 That’s a Wrap on the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo! 🚍🌟
What an incredible week of learning, leadership, and unforgettable experiences for our Sun Valley FFA members!
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to tour Ozark Fisheries in Martinsville, Indiana, where our members got a firsthand look at the world of aquaculture! 🐟 Celebrating 100 years in business this year, Ozark Fisheries is a fourth-generation, family-owned operation specializing in raising goldfish and koi. Their Indiana location was originally established in 1899 and is one of the oldest continuously operating private fish farms in the country! Our members learned about fish production, management, and the process of raising fish for customers across North America.
We then headed back to the convention center and downtown Indianapolis, where members continued connecting with fellow FFA members from across the country, strengthening friendships, and making memories together!
This morning, we loaded up the bus and began our journey home to North Carolina! 🚍
Throughout this adventure, our members have had incredible opportunities to explore different areas of agriculture, network with students and industry professionals from across the United States, develop leadership skills, and experience new things outside their everyday lives.
