Yesterday, a few of our Sun Valley FFA members had the opportunity to visit Harris Teeter and help customers learn more about what the “Proud to Support FFA” sticker means when they see it on products throughout the store!

Through their partnership with the North Carolina FFA Association, Harris Teeter helps support FFA students and agricultural education programs across our state. 💙💛

We were excited to connect with members of our community, share a little about FFA, and help people see the difference they are making simply by purchasing products with the “Proud to Support FFA” sticker.

We are so thankful for community partners like Harris Teeter who invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders!

Over the last 3 days, our Sun Valley FFA officers have participated in Union County Chapter Officer Leadership Training, spending time team building, bonding, developing their leadership skills, and making plans for the year ahead. 💙💛

They’re excited to bring what they’ve learned back to Sun Valley FFA and use it to make this a BEST YEAR YET for our members! 🌟

Today, they also spent some time getting our Ag Courtyard ready for the new school year by cleaning up, spreading pine needles, and giving the space a little TLC. 🌱🧹

A big thank you to Porter Ridge FFA for hosting this year’s training and giving our officers the opportunity to learn and connect with other Union County FFA chapters!

We had a great time visiting Carmel WEE School today! 🍂🌾

Our Sun Valley FFA members taught preschoolers about fall on the farm, how crops grow from seeds, and how farmers care for plants and animals. Each student planted their own seed to take home, and everyone loved meeting our chickens and guinea pigs! 🫛🐔🐹

2026 NC FFA State Convention! 💙💛

13 Sun Valley FFA members represented our chapter in Raleigh through competition, leadership, and learning. Our members competed in Introduction to Horticulture, Floriculture, Food Science, and Milk Quality while gaining valuable experiences that will help them grow as leaders and agriculturists.

We were honored to be recognized on stage as a Gold Level National Chapter at the state level, and we celebrated our Old North State Degree recipients as they received recognition for their hard work and dedication.

From inspiring sessions and the college & career expo to dancing, new friendships, and unforgettable memories, this week was filled with opportunities for our students to learn, lead, and grow.

So proud of these members and the way they represented Sun Valley FFA!
