Stallings Fire Department

Please join us in keeping the fallen firefighter’s family, friends, and fellow firefighters in your thoughts and prayers. The job of a firefighter is one of incredible courage and sacrifice, often requiring one to face danger while others are running from it. No matter how much training and preparation one receives, there are risks that can never be completely eliminated. Today, we honor a firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others. May their family, friends, and fire service brothers and sisters find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

On Sunday around 6 p.m., Stallings Fire, along with Matthews and Wesley Chapel, was alerted to a structure fire after a neighbor reported seeing an exterior electrical outlet on fire.

Upon arrival, crews had to make entry into the home, as no one was home. Firefighters conducted a primary search to verify the home was unoccupied. No active fire was found inside the residence.

The fire had extinguished itself, although it did cause damage to the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Union County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Thank you to Matthews and Wesley Chapel for their assistance on the call.

At 3:56 a.m., Stallings Fire, along with Bakers and Wesley Chapel Fire Departments, was dispatched to a possible structure fire.

Police were first on scene and advised of a working fire. Engine and Ladder 20 arrived shortly after and found two vehicles on fire inside the garage. Crews quickly deployed a hose line and began extinguishing the fire. As additional units arrived, a water supply was established and an additional hose line was stretched.

The fire was contained to the garage, with limited damage to the interior of the home.

Thank you to Bakers and Wesley Chapel Fire Departments for their assistance. Great work by all crews on scene.
