🐾 Paws and Claws Drive Success! 🐾

The Blue Mountain Middle School National Junior Honor Society recently completed a successful Paws and Claws Drive to support the SPCA of Westchester. Students collected pet supplies at school and volunteered outside Pet Supplies Plus to gather additional donations from the community.

The project concluded with a visit to the SPCA, where students toured the facility, learned about its mission, and saw firsthand how their donations will help animals in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this meaningful service project a success!

The BMMS National Junior Honor Society will be collecting items needed by the SPCA outside Pet Supplies Plus tomorrow! In addition to new items and food for pets, they are also collecting gently used blankets and towels.

🚨⚓ Given the impact of snow days this school year, the Hendrick Hudson School District intends to maximize instructional time for our students. As a result, the Early-Release Day scheduled for Monday, May 18 will now shift to a full day of instruction.

The professional learning for staff previously scheduled for that afternoon has been canceled. This adjustment will provide additional time for teaching and learning.

This spring semester Lisamaria Albanese, the Student Assistance Counselor at BMMS, is hosting monthly activities for our students to spread awareness around Wellness & Art and Drug Prevention.

Students were given the opportunity to paint rocks, make stress balls, and build bird feeders!

May’s activity will be focused on Positive Affirmations with mandala coloring!

All students are encouraged to sign up to ensure there are enough supplies for everyone!
