Think you’d like to help out with the PTA, but don’t want to bite off more than you can chew? Consider the role of Class Parent this year!

Each class has two (or more) Class Parents, so the whole job is never left to just one person. Class Parents decide how to share the responsibilities, and directions about what to do or email come straight from either the PTA or the teacher, so there’s no wondering if you’ve missed something you’re supposed to do.

The job varies by teacher and grade level, but you can expect to:
✅ send out emails to the class, which you’ll get from either the PTA or your child’s teacher,
✅ coordinate supplies for classroom celebrations,
✅ organize teacher gifts a couple times during the year, and
✅ have the chance to volunteer in the classroom

Deadline is Wednesday, September 9. Class Parents must be PTA members and try to attend PTA meetings.

We’re gearing up for our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year!

💛💚💙💜 COLOR RUN 💜💙💚💛

Save the date for Thursday, September 24 at 5:30p!

Pre-registration is REQUIRED—online only this year! It’s a TWO-STEP PROCESS:
1. Use the following link and enter the Campaign ID in the lefthand “Register” square to create your child’s page: www.donate.schoolathon.org , Campaign ID 41164.
2. Once you’ve created your page, you can make the $30 donation to register.

Some important details:
- You MUST make the $30 donation to register. Simply creating a page does NOT register you for the event.
- Deadline to register and fundraise *for prizes* is Thursday, September 10. Donations are still accepted after September 10, but they don’t qualify for prizes. ALL donations, regardless of date, go towards helping the PTA and allowing us to organize great events for our community throughout the year!
- Friends and family can donate to your child’s page! Share the personalized link to help your child fundraise, qualify for prizes, and show the GW love!
- Businesses can sponsor the event, too! Know a local business that might want to get involved? Please email [email protected].
