Our fundraiser Valley Rising was a terrific success. Everyone had fun. Food was great. The live auction led by our own ALF senior fellow, was so much fun. Our well deserved Leadership In Action Award recipient gave a moving speech about her ALF experience. Our MC, the one and only and kind-hearted, also gave a heart-felt speech about her ALF experience. Both speeches were so moving that a couple folks who have been on the fence expressed interest in learning more about this unique and transformative program. Our small team of volunteers is indeed mighty. We owe them a deep gratitude for a wonderful event. We could not do it without the amazing support of sponsors and all senior fellows who contributed, donated to auction baskets, purchased tickets, and showed up. We felt nothing but LOVE during the festive evening.
