Earlier this month, the East San Joaquin Water Quality Coalition hosted six staff members from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board’s Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program for a harvest season tour. 🌾

The tour included stops at the East San Joaquin Water Quality Coalition’s water sample testing site, a large farm in Denair showcasing autonomous equipment, and an almond huller, giving regulators a firsthand look at different parts of the agricultural process.

Earlier this week, the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau hosted Endorsement Night, where candidates had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their priorities, and answer questions from the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.

Following the presentations and Q&A sessions, the Board of Directors voted on endorsements for the upcoming election.

Our 2026 Voter Guide and Board endorsements are provided to help keep our members informed ahead of the election.

Yesterday marked our final Summer Library Program event! 📚☀️

Throughout the summer, we partnered with Stanislaus County Libraries and Modesto Irrigation District to teach local youth about agriculture and the top commodities grown right here in Stanislaus County. 🌱

Together, we visited 13 library branches giving kids the opportunity to learn where their food comes from through fun, hands-on activities.

A very special thank you goes to our incredible intern, Neveah Russo, whose hard work, creativity, and dedication helped make this program such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped inspire the next generation to learn more about agriculture. Be sure to follow along to stay up to date on what’s coming next!
