The start of a great tradition -- Camp Breathless No More held its first camp on Aug 1-4 just northeast of Sonora at Camp Jack Hazard in Dardanelle.

Although asthma among adolescents can be stressful for families, children ages 8-12 can learn to take a role in managing this chronic respiratory disease and lead active, healthy lives. That’s the message behind Camp Breathless No More: to show kids that the disease does not have to define them or hold them back.

Thank you to the many volunteers and agencies that made camp possible, and to the families who participated.
