On October 26, 2024, Sergeant George Imirian responded to reports of gunfire and a homicide scene when the armed suspect returned and opened fire on his patrol vehicle.

Despite sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, Sgt. Imirian continued the pursuit and engaged the suspect. Before collapsing from blood loss, he called for medical assistance for both himself and the suspect—helping end the incident and prevent further harm.

An extraordinary display of courage, composure, and commitment to protecting others.

We would like to give a shout out to Rapid Relief Team https://www.rrtglobal.org/us/ & Duty to Act Coffee https://dutytoact.shop/ for their generosity at the NPW Candlelight Ceremony. You blessed us with food, amenities and great coffee during a stormy evening. Please take a moment to check out the websites for each and donate if possible. For those in California, Duty to Act is located in Northern California. The coffee and cocoa were delicious. 🖤💙🖤
