Stanislaus County Library Lovers one and ALL! Jane Manley and Laurie Carly of the Stanislaus County Library Foundation joined us today to uodate us on all the programs, resources and services offered FREE ! So AWESOME! Great presentation! Our very own Ernesto Calderon hosted his boss, Modesto City Schools Superintendent Vanessa Buitrago to share EXACTLY how Measure K saves taxpayers money. No politico speech, simple math; Measure K replaces the tax thats ending that originally built Enochs, Gregori, etc and is actually lower than the "old" one. So that's how we get our schools renovated now. Adam Weinert brought us some un-news in his usual hilarious way! Past President Mike Kelley did a fine job standing in for vacationing President Jim Broedlow (pretty sure that's gonna cost ya!). Past President Sylvester Aguilar Jr told what may have been his best joke ever, "depends" on who you talk to though! Wedding anniversaries are always a big deal here, today past Presidents Nicholas Mascitelli (63 years) and Ron Ramont (40 years) celebrated BIG! Our Annual Crab Feed is coming, get your tickets! Come join us for one of the best life experiences!

Deeply inspiring, the American Red Cross, Michael Riddle shared all the incredible resources the Red Cross has, many new ones we'd never heard about. It was birthday month celebration time, yea October babies! Greens had a runeay setup for another event and this crowd couldn't resist! Carlos Verduzco accepted our Club donation to support the Annual Modesto Veterans Day Parade which past President Ed Parcaut initiated our support for, Nice! Past President Christine Sylvia Schweininger recently accepted Chairman of the Stanislaus County Housing Authority position. Incoming President, Dezaree Seeds announced our Club logo competition deadline. Past President Mike Kelly and past President Jeff Jensen are chairing the 13th Annual Modesto Sunrise Rotary Crab Feed. President Jim's wife, Bev Brewer Broedlow created a cool digital wheel spin for our monthly perfect attendance members! Frances Guevara won! Hang on to your hats, there's more fun around the corner. Join us!!

What did you SAY? Amy Peterman and Kristi Britton brought us entirely exciting reminders and new resources for communicating based on the book "Bridge the Gap" we ALL benefit from communicating better! Adam Weinert brought the news! Past Pres. Tom VanderVeen was feelin' irey in Jamaica and brought President Jim Broedlow some rum! Pam Shelton loved Alaska and received her permanent badge, YEA! Another FANTASTIC time with the best Rotarians on the planet (not that we're partial). Join us, every Thursday, 6:45a Greens on Tenth!

Modesto Sunrise Rotary FJ40 Sweepstakes key handoff to Brian D. Of Woodland, CA! Winalandcruiser.com

09/20/2026

Brian D. from northern CA. Came to pick up his Land Cruiser today! He was the lucky winner of our sweepstakes. He was very, very happy! I have to say, I’m sad to see it go. It treated our club well and it was sure fun to drive for the 7 months we had it! I’ll probably feel better after I drive the Red Rocker around a bit.😃
