The Pretty Pittie Committee Rescue • Foster • Adopt • Repeat 🐾 Our goal is to ensure every deserving dog is treated like family, and not property!

The Pretty Pittie Committee is a Foster based 501(c)3 non profit organization that is dedicated to the underdogs, although we are not breed specific, We take pride in being able to provide second chances to the southern shelters and street dogs that deserve so much more then what they have been given especially bully breeds. We are working endlessly in hopes to decrease the overpopulation of abandoned and unloved dogs and puppies in our area,by encouraging and assisting with local spay and neuters for our community while we educate and advocate for those who have been forgotten, always speaking up for those without a voice.

BIG BIG NEWS FOR OUR BOY LUCAS ‼️🙏🏽

As many of you know we have literally been posting and begging for someone to take a chance and love Lucas, our sweet but timid guy we’ve had for an entire year. He’s literally grown up with us between foster care, the vets office and the uncles! But FINALLLLLLLLY! A sweet lady stepped up to the challenge and said “give me my baby!” Anddddd boy are we thankful and blessed!! Cus he’s been doing fantastic!!

They’ve been continuing working on ESA training ( shout out to the uncles for making him top tier ) but he’s been doing fantastic ! And he loves his new sister and his
Momma!!

We are thrilled and can’t wait to watch them live out their best life forever 🥹😍

Late night emergency ‼️

Can anyone foster this little girl. She’s about 5 weeks old 2.9 lbs.

She was found out in a ditch, dehydrated and pale gums .
We started her on fluids, She probably won’t need them going forward - did her initial vetting and started dewormer

but her finder works and goes to school - so she needs someone that can make sure she eats!

Heyyyyy they haven’t been boosting , haven’t been bragging but one thing they’ve been doing is MOVIN N SHAKING!

Since Thursday they’ve been working around the clock driving back and forth to any and everywhere !!

And LOOK WHAT WE DID 👏🏽 👏🏽

THIS IS THE LOWEST AMOUNT OF ANIMALS IN THE PAST 3 years yes I said years….

They started at 360 .. and have about 150 ‼️‼️‼️

THIS IS WHAT THE KENNELS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE.

Yall stay safe during hurricane Isaias 🌀

He’s a sweet 6 year old Maltese mix who does best with doggie friends!

He’s heartworm negative. & now fixed! He’s great with dogs ignores cats!

Please remember he was used to make babies so he doesn’t really know much but he seems house trained • no leash walking for this guy ( but I bet he’d get used to it )

He is currently at Advanced Pet Care and can leave anytime now!

You know what pi**es me off.
Older dogs in shelters, cus they weren’t just born and dumped from an accident litter ( not saying that’s okay but it’s more understandable ) than being 4-5 years old and popping up at a shelter.
Cus I JUST KNOW, they had a family, they had a life, they knew a person and thought they were HOME.
Then they’re just not? And all that love and time you spent on them ( cus he knows commands ) just like who cares ? Let someone else deal with it ? Forget em? And hope someone else cares..?

What 🫪🫪 the heck 🫠 it’s weird to me.

But did you know when you dumped him, he would sit at a shelter for weeks, stressed and crying at the glass door at every human that walked by? Did you know 90 .% of the people looking for a new dog aren’t going to pick him cus he’s not a fluffy cute little baby anymore ? Did you know he was going to loose 10 lbs?
It makes me sick and honestly I hope you stub your big toe everyday.

So now here we are with Drax. And he’s a GREAT dog. Good demeanor, smart, knows commands, passed the dog and cat test.

We don’t have a closet full of kids so I don’t know that.

He would love a new home. The shelter is full. And will only be fuller after this week … and he will just get lost in the shuffle …

Can any one help this big guy Drax, I don’t know how this smarty pants ended up here but he’s such a good sweet shepherd ( shocked to even say in the same sentence) he’s great with dogs, he’s heartbroken 💔 being at the shelter. Look at his eyes. I just know he thought he was loved. Till he wasn’t . And now he’s literally loosing weight, and is stressed out . He’s dog friendly and passed the cat test.
