Dozens of kids in local FFA and 4-H groups were participating in various competitions on Thursday as a brief rainstorm passed over the fairgrounds in Hamilton.

Be sure to hit up your aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors at BBQs and family gatherings this Labor Day weekend. Sell them some Pig Raffle Fundraiser tickets!

Drawing is next Thursday, 9/10, 7pm at the start of the 4-H Livestock Committee meeting.

🍀 Some of the best lessons in life are taught through challenges, obstacles, and learning how to overcome adversity.

Animals have a special way of providing those opportunities. They teach our 4-H youth patience, responsibility, resilience, compassion, problem-solving, and how to keep going when things don’t go according to plan.

Not every project is easy. Not every day ends with a WIN. Sometimes the greatest growth happens in the hard moments. 💚

That’s 4-H — learning by doing, growing through challenges, and making the best better. 🍀🐷🐮🐑🐴
