Zootown Youth Basketball Club is an Insured Non Profit 501(c)3 all-inclusive program.
Our Mission Statement: To build and develop the skills of each player while incorporating youth character development in a positive, healthy environment! The program includes a strong emphasis on Integrity, Teamwork, Sportsmanship and Discipline. Each player is valued for their own unique strengths and will be challenged to improve their skills over the course of the season.
Zootown Basketball collects funds throughout the year through various fundraisers and donations. The funds collected go towards scholarships offered. Scholarships are awarded by need and funds available to players on our Zootown teams or registering for one of our camps, clinics and other programs. Zootown wants to make sure that any child interested, dedicated and working hard will always have the opportunity to develop their skills regardless of financial ability.
We strive to keep fees affordable for all players, all fees for any player registration or tournament is to offset the cost of the program. The more volunteers we have, the more donations from the community, the more donated items or facilities decreases the fees/cost associated with the program. The director and facilities manager are all 100% volunteer.
Zootown contracts with various vendors for services to run the programs. Zootown rents facilities for our events and purchases insurance. All of these costs make up the registration fees.
Zootown is about the kids, they are the heart of the mission statement and the program. We strive to only have a positive affect on our community and our youth. We value the integrity of the organization and hope to offer several quality programs for all kids and interests!
