And just like that, Alice by Heart is over. 💙♠️

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this was one of the best shows we’ve produced in quite some time. The talent, heart, and dedication displayed by this cast created something truly special. Every rehearsal, every note, every moment on stage was filled with passion and purpose.

If you were lucky enough to see it, thank you for sharing the journey with us. If you missed it, you truly missed something extraordinary.

To our cast and audiences, thank you for helping bring Wonderland to life.

Now it’s time to close the book and say goodbye to Alice.

Introducing two more incredible performers from Alice by Heart 💙👑🐢

🌟 Julian Dance as Red Cross Nurse / Queen of Hearts
Julian is 19 years old and a sophomore at Central Piedmont Community College. She will graduate with her associate degree in July. Julian has been performing since she was 8 years old and is excited to help bring Alice by Heart to life. She would like to give a special shoutout to the cast for all their hard work.

🌟 Cayman Powell as Dr. Butridge / King of Hearts / Jabberwocky / Mock Turtle
Cayman has been performing at Spotlight for 9 years and is currently a second-year honors student at UNC Charlotte pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence, along with a certificate in Sports Analytics. At Spotlight, Cayman has directed five productions, including A VHS Christmas Carol and The Trail to Oregon!. Recent acting credits include Pinocchio in Shrek The Musical, Ensemble in Sweeney Todd, and Adam in Freaky Friday.
