On Sunday February 8th our troop, Troop 1265, and Cub Scout Pack 65 had the pleasure of being part of our charter organization's Sunday service. Part of Scouting is "doing a good turn daily" and now is your chance to help our Scouts in Mecklenburg County Council, with a good turn for our community. This coming weekend, our Scouts will be out collecting food for neighbors in need in our annual Drive.

Normally, you would have received a lovely hang tag, like the one below, on your door this past Saturday, but Mother Nature had other ideas. We are still working to hand these out over the next few days, but in case we miss you, you can donate financially via the code on the tag below or bring your donations to Philadelphia Presbyterian Mint Hill after 9:00 am on Saturday, February 7th.

On the 10th our scouts came out to get a spot ready for new storage. Really proud of how fast and how on top of the project everyone was. Our SPL did a great job counseling with leaders, delegating jobs, and keeping scouts organized and on task. Well done everyone! It looks great!
