Your rights don't disappear at the schoolhouse gate.

Students have rights at school—and understanding them can help you speak up, ask questions, and advocate for yourself. Check out our Know Your Rights page to learn what your rights are and how they apply in everyday school situations ➡️aclund.org/studentrights

🏳️‍⚧️Transgender Flag Day is celebrated annually on August 19th to honor the creation and history of the transgender pride flag. 🏳️‍⚧️

It was first displayed publicly at the Phoenix pride parade in 2000 🫶🏼

The original flag was accepted into the smithsonian's national museum of American history on August 19th 2014

🩵Light blue represents traditional color for baby boys

💕Pink represents the traditional color for baby girls

🤍White represents those who are transitioning, intersex, or have neutral or undefined gender

And the flag was created with a symmetrical design so that no matter which direction it is flown it is always correct to symbolizing the trans people are always correct in their self-identities.

We love our transgender friends and community. 🏳️‍⚧️🩵💕🤍🏳️‍⚧️
