Story Hour at the Minong Area Library needs your help.

On October 7, the Minong Area Fire Department is coming to story hour at the Minong Area Library. Fireman Susie Conaway will be coming to read a story and teach us about Fire Prevention Week. As part of the presentation, we would like to present each child in attendance with a fireman's helmet, fireman's badge and some other educational materials. This is a first time collaboration between the library and the fire department. So, these mementos were not factored into anyone's annual budget.

You can help! Please consider donating to our story hour fireman visit project. We have until October 7 to raise the money for the helmets/badges/learning materials to make story hour extra special for area children as they learn to Stop! Drop! Roll!

Stop in at the Minong Area Library located at 212 5th Ave, Minong, WI any time Tuesday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. or Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon to drop your donation in the Story Hour Firemen donation jar .
