Fab Lab Community, it's time to announce the next round of classes! We will be making Cedar Planter Boxes! Just in time for the warm weather and gardening season. These boxes make for beautiful display for your favorite flowers or even if you want to try your hand at growing some herds. Price will be $25/box. There will also be an option to purchase a standing frame (30" tall) made from steel angle iron to go with your planter box for an additional $30. Classes will be held on the following dates: 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, and 5/16.

Update on the Bottle Opener Classes:
I mistakenly added 4/4 as an option on the registration, the school is holding a Parent/Teacher Conference that night, so I removed that option and added 4/18 instead.

Now onto the exciting part- I was finally able to put together a prototype Bottle Opener! The hardware came in over spring break. The board is hot off the laser engraver and I hadn't a chance to fully clean it up and stain it but it still looks pretty cool!

The center image is totally customizable. These would make great gifts or wall hangers! Plenty of spaces still available. Registration linked below.

Announcing the next 2 Fab Lab Classes! First, for the next 2 weeks we will be cutting metal signs on the plasma table for $10/sign. The following week, 3/14/24, Fab Lab will be closed for Spring Break. After that we will be introducing a new class; DIY Customized Wall Mounted Bottle Openers! The price for this class will be $20/opener. I am attaching both registrations below as well as an image to show what the openers will look like. I plan on incorporating the Laser Engraver into this class, something we have not used in a Fab Lab class yet!

These cribbage boards are a real hit and I can see why! Just look how beautiful these boards are turning out! Tonight's boards consisted of maple, cherry, and black ash wood. Great job everybody!

The cribbage board classes are filling up fast! So far there are 3 more spots available for the 2/1 class, 4 for the 2/8 class, 1 for the 2/15 class and 3 more for the 2/22 class! I look forward to working with all those who have signed up so far. If you or someone you know is interested you better sign up quickly before all the spots are taken!

The time to announce the next string of classes has arrived, so here it is.... Wooden Cribbage Boards! There are 5 incredible designs to choose from as well as an option to create your own custom design! I have included a picture of the prototype board, check it out!

Classes will be capped at 5/class and will be $10/board.
