Run Like REL

Run Like REL Run Like REL grants diverse youth access to collaborative and community-driven programs and events in efforts to close the high school achievement gap.

Run Like REL is an aspiring nonprofit organization serving and inspiring inner city diverse youth in their efforts to best discover, define and go after their goals and dreams. Run Like REL’s mission is to close the college achievement gap among innercity youth of color in the Twin Cities by providing inclusive and impactful collaborative and community-driven curriculum, programming and events ou

tside of the classroom. Our efforts work to improve overall success and college graduation rates among this youth demographic that may not have easily accessible resources and life coaching to help them best discover, define and achieve their dreams. We provide tools and resources to help youth set goals and make individualized action plans in order to best prepare them to go after and ultimately achieve their own definition of success. The organization's programs and services will focus on three key components; college bound programming, network and career development and health and wellness. This organization was created by Minneapolis philanthropist, entrepreneur and running enthusiast, Ariel(REL) Kendall in efforts to provide valuable resources and mentorship in order to best motivate and inspire young adults to start with a dream, chase after it and run with it; to dream BIG and never give up.

“I hope to ignite individual passions in young adults and help them achieve their dreams, in any and all aspects of their lives. I want inner city youth to acknowledge their full potential and let them know that their dreams can become a reality. Run Like REL will provide them with the resources, skills and environment to stay inspired and achieve their personal definition of success.”
