2026 Order of the Arrow Unit Elections start THIS weekend on Nov 15th. Has your Unit submitted your Election Dates to the Lodge? Would you like a team to come out to talk with your Unit about the OA?

Key Unit Troop/Crew Leaders should have received emails from the Lodge on scheduling your 2026 Order of the Arrow Election. If you dont see these in your email please contact the Lodge Membership Team @ [email protected] or [email protected]

Order of the Arrow Elections Eligibility :
- Be a registered Member of Scouts BSA
- 15 nights of camping while registered with a troop, crew, or ship within the two years immediately prior to the election. The 15 nights must include one, but no more than one, long-term camp consisting of at least 5 consecutive nights
- At the time of elections, youth must be under the age of 21, hold one of the ranks of :
Scouts BSA First Class rank
Venturing Discovery rank
Sea Scout Ordinary rank
- In their unit, and following approval by the Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor or Sea Scout Skipper, be elected as a youth member of their unit.

Adults (21 or older) who meet the camping requirements names can be sent into the OA following nomination to and approval by the lodge unit selection committee after your unit election has taken place. You should receive an email on this after your Unit Election.

Did you know that Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors and Sea Scout Skippers can now apply to the Lodge for OA nomination without the above criteria as a Key Unit Leader. Please contact the Lodge @ [email protected] for more information and assistance.
