I’m so honored to be recognized as a 2026 Women in Business honoree by .businessjournal, alongside 49 other amazing Twin Cities women.
It was such a joy to share the day with a room full of talented, inspiring, and accomplished women — including one of my favorite restaurant owners and pastry chefs, Diane Moua of Diane’s Place. I even got to have lunch with Diane, which made the day extra special!
Thank you, Minnesota Business Journal, for this wonderful honor.
Salad Girl Organic Dressings began 20 years ago as a small dream, stirred with purpose, courage, family, and friends — and I am deeply grateful for every person who helped bring that dream to life.
A heartfelt thank you to my sweet friend Alicia Hinze of , a recipient of this award last year, for nominating me; to Brenda Langton for inspiring me as a young woman to learn to eat, prepare, and share whole foods; and to my husband and business partner, Jimmy, for his expertise, patience, perseverance, and endless support.
Thank you to all of our Twin Cities and Midwest grocery partners — , , our wonderful Midwest co-op stores, , Festival Foods, Coborn’s, and so many others — for believing in Salad Girl and helping us grow.
A very special thank you to the wonderful Mary Anne Kowalski, who gave me my very first spot on the refrigerated produce shelves of her beautiful stores. That first “yes” changed everything.
And to my little sister Patti, who was here with me today — my best friend and best marketing person — thank you for proudly pointing out Salad Girl in the refrigerated produce aisle to anyone and everyone, in every store, every chance you get!
My heart is full. Thank you to my family, friends, customers, grocery partners, and everyone who has supported Salad Girl along the way.
With so much gratitude,
Pam
