Students are invited to submit either an interpretive essay focusing on close reading and analysis of one primary source from American history or a research essay incorporating primary and secondary sources on a topic in American history.

The 2026 Winter Olympics competition is now live. Use the link below:

Students choose countries whom they think will win the most medals, with top contenders costing more than "sleeper" picks. Students must submit picks by 11:59pm on February 6.

We also highly encourage students to research various countries and publish their findings as articles in your class space(s).

This is a global competition where students across Fanschool compete for top ranking on the Leaderboard. You can filter the leaderboard to show just your class so students can see how they are faring against each other, in addition to the Top 100 leaders across all of Fanschool.
