We cannot express our gratitude enough for so many who made yesterdays Thanksgiving Meal a success. We would never have been able to serve nearly 200 hot meals if it weren't for people, businesses, and churches like Forgiven, Faithful & Free Fellowship , Harmony Church, Fellowship of Mt.Zion, St. Andrew Orthodox Church, Rocky's Auto, Wheeler Funeral Home, Jim & Shawna Westfall, Linda Caputo, Martin Sohovich, David & Nancy Bednarek, and Kristen Wheeler making monetary donations, and those like Everett & Amy Wine, Aisha Swango's Harvest of Hope (and all who donated to that food collection effort), Hills Elementary School (and all who donated to their can food drive), and Rutts Cross Creek Tavern (and all who donated to their collection) for making food donations.

It would also be impossible to do without volunteers from The Foundery Church and Refocus Christian Church giving up their Thanksgiving morning to serve (and some prepped food, too) to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to have a hot Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day.. Some of those amazing people are the

The Cline Family, Alysha Rawson & Family, Nichole Riggle, Laura Greathouse, Shelby Greathouse, Danny & Courtney Vargo, The Michael Family, The Beatty Family, Logan & Kristen Urban, Rob & Janice Walker, Debby Sliday, Debi Vukelic, Jacy Mozingo, Matt & Traci Thoma, Nancy Burch, Michele Thomas, Linda Caputo, Jessica Dickey, Tom & Jane Jones, Marya & John McClelland, and Amy Bartley

We are sure there were others that were involved in this effort that we missed (we are so sorry if we did), or that made donations anonymously. Know that every single one of you are appreciated and we are so honored to know you and experience your heart for people in the community!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Bobby and Stacy Westfall

Next up.. Bay Six: Christmas giveaway.. If you are interested in being involved in that effort which will help assure that over 500 kids receive a Christmas gift this year, please email us at [email protected]

So grateful for Hills Elementary partnering with us to fill our pantry for those that need a little help. Some of this will also be used for our Thanksgiving meal. Thank you Ashley Turnbull and others who live a life of caring for our Your effort helps us to be able to meet the basic practical needs of Ohio Valley families!!

Hills Elementary Canned Food Drive Success!

Last week, our Hills Elementary family truly showed what it means to come together and care for our community! Thanks to the generosity of our students, staff, and families, we collected 2,094 canned and boxed food items, 7 turkeys, and 9 pumpkin pies to support local families this Thanksgiving season.

Our homerooms worked hard, and while the class competition was close, Mrs. Mayle’s class came out on top with an incredible 381 items donated! They’ll receive a special extra treat during their pizza party.

But here’s the best part—our entire school did such an amazing job that everyone will be celebrating with a school-wide pizza party!

Thank you, Hills community, for your kindness, teamwork, and giving spirit.

TOGETHER WE RISE! 💛❤️

Bay Six: Christmas 2025 Sign ups are live and will run through December 1, 2025.

Christmas is meant to be the most wonderful time of the year. Full of joy, laughter, and love. But for many families, this season can feel more heavy than hopeful. Some parents are facing tough choices between paying bills, putting food on the table, or buying a gift for their kids.

That’s why we started Bay Six: Christmas 9 years ago. Our heart is to bring a little light back into the season and remind families that they’re not alone. Every child deserves to wake up on Christmas morning with a gift ... a simple reminder that they are seen, loved, and valued

If you’re a parent or guardian who could use a little help this Christmas, we’d be honored to come alongside you. You matter. Your children matter. And having a good Christmas matters.

Visit www.thebaysixproject.org to sign up today!!
