โ๏ธ PUBLIC NOTICE - PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ADVISORY โ๏ธ
The City of Mineral Point is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory following a loss of pressure in the City's water distribution system. The Wisconsin DNR has advised the City to issue this notice because a loss of water pressure could create the potential for bacteria to enter the water system.
๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐๐, residents and businesses served by the City's water system should:
๐น Bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least ONE MINUTE before using it for drinking, cooking, food preparation or brushing teeth.
๐น Use boiled or commercially bottled water for drinking, cooking, food preparation and brushing teeth, including making ice.
๐น Avoid using unboiled tap water for dishwashing or other activities where water may be ingested.
The City is working with the DNR to complete the necessary water testing.
