Mineral Point Kiwanis

Mineral Point Kiwanis We are a Mineral Point service organization. Our primary goal is helping children.

One of the original tenets of the Mineral Point Kiwanis that remains true today is: “No slackers in Kiwanis.” It’s for busy people who want to give back to the community. If you want to help the children of Mineral Point and have fun in the process, then perhaps you should be a Kiwanis member.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of member Jeanie Lewis, an outstanding leader of our club, serving as President from 1997-1998. Jeanie was a fantastic storyteller, and we are forever grateful for her preservation of our club's history through her three decades of service at The Democrat Tribune and The Dodgeville Chronicle. An incredibly caring person, always thinking of others first, Jeanie will be truly missed.

Sincerest sympathy to her family and friends. Obituary: https://www.gorgenfh.com/obituaries/donnajean-i-lewis/ #!/Obituary

🎶 A sincere thank you to the Mineral Point Kiwanis for your support! On Gallery Night/Candlelight Shopping in December, several of our students played and sang festive tunes downtown while Kiwanis roasted chestnuts on an open fire. $600 gathered at this event from generous donations is benefitting our band students who performed that night and who will be traveling to play at Walt Dinsey World in March. Thanks again!

Check out who made the cover of Our Wisconsin Magazine! Join us this Saturday, December 6 for one of our fabulous club traditions during Gallery Night/Candlelight Shopping -- chestnuts roasting on an open fire -- at the corner of Chestnut and High Streets.

Some MPHS Band members will be playing from 5-6 pm and 8-9 pm as we will be accepting contributions to benefit the band's trip to Florida in March.

Choir students will begin caroling at 6 pm, also gathering at the corner of Chestnut and High to start.

Come out and enjoy this festive beginning to the holiday season!
