Meet Ben Gilbert:

MFCC recently celebrated “Ben Day” a couple days ago and it seemed way overdue if you ask me. For the last 3+ years, Ben has been the go to for so many things/tasks whether managing the Food Shelf, volunteers, and just overall outreach to ensure food access is accessible for every household that comes to us needing help. Not to mention his marketing expertise to allow folks near and far to see everything that MFCC has to offer in terms of our core services. Currently as Interim Executive Director, Ben has had to wear various hats while at the same time staying composed in the heat of it all. A lot happens in the background that we may not know about and we’re just beyond thankful for him in continuing to steer us onward.

Hosted by Milton Recreation & Parks and the Milton Family Community Center, the event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 18. Organizers are now referring to the series as the “Milton Farmers Market,” using the tagline “Fresh from the Field, Live from the Stage.”

Martha Nolin:

Martha is an extraordinary toddler teacher & educator having worked at MFCC for 20+ years! Martha has seen it all culminating experience/wisdom that’ll stick with you both personally & professionally. She has such a way with the toddlers and it truly shows whether talking through differences or exploring newer ways of viewing the world around us. Thank you for being here and continuing to nurture each and every little one that comes through our doors.

We had a very sweet visitor today! Ms Brenda came to teach our toddlers all about bees, and even showed off her snazzy beekeeper suit 🐝

Fresh Rescue foods are in and available starting at 9:30AM! Fruits, veggies, bread, deli items, and a few treats are here thanks to Hannaford Supermarkets and our Friday volunteers.
